Hard at Work

Posted by
GJC (Kyoto, Japan) on 2 July 2013 in People & Portrait.

Despite all the machinery to help modern-day rice farmers, I still marvel at how hard is the work. I took this photo about 2 minutes from my apartment on my way home from the office -- and on the way home to rice for dinner. It helped me again appreciate what I am eating.

Very well placed, I love the fact that there is no horizon in this shot, just endless green. Works very well!

Very beautiful capture. Sure, it is a hard work , but that could make rices delicious. As one of ricewinners, I'm appreciating their works.

A beautifully composed image. I agree. These farmers do work hard at this backbreaking labor.

Lovely. That lone worker perfectly placed in a field of green.
