So beautiful...the red seems to hold the attention of the devotee and allow them to concentrate more...at least that is what it does to me ....This is wonderful GJC!

@ordinaryimages: Yes, we might call it "Shinto red"; it is the prevalent color at Shinto shrines, and this fence was only very recently put up so the paint is quite fresh.
I like the glimpse of the old moss covered roof behind the shiny, new fence.

The shrine is behind that fence, I guess visible through the one opening.
The "Shinto Red" is especially beautiful in the snowy scene!
