This image is part of a short series, A Celebration of Tea, which began here.

A story is told about Sen no Rikyū, the great 16th century tea master:
One day a student asked, "Sensei, what is the secret of tea?"
“Tea is nothing but boiling water and making tea," Rikyū replied. "This is the only rule you should know."
A little startled, the student replied, "But I already know this!"
"If you already know this," Rikyū responded, "then I must become your student."
