We are finally getting some colored leaves, much later than usual. Stay tuned ....
My neighbor has about 28 bags of Maple leaves, you want me to email them to you? best…jf

I feel the leaves were slow to 'turn' here, too . . and, now, gales have swept many away. Thanks for the golden memory !

I like this period in Japan... Changing leaves colors are great!

Timelessness....autumns come and autumns go, nothing seems to touch the stone!
Yes...we've got the colours,too....finally we can say autumn is showing off!

I really like this photo! The contrast between human-made and nature. The contrast between darks and lights. The repetition of vertical and horizontal lines. The copying of diagonal lines in roof and cement. The dark browns with bright yellows and greens. Wonderful! (Why is it that we respond so readily to some images and not others?--a rhetorical question.)

Very nice! I like the bokeh...it's just the right amount of blur that we can still see detail but so much that it distracts from the stone. I like Japanalia's comment...everything changes but the stone.
