Kyoto Rush Hour

Posted by
GJC (Kyoto, Japan) on 24 November 2011 in People & Portrait.

If women in Kyoto stop wearing kimono, as women have done in many other cities of Japan, the whole country should simply close up and put itself out of business as a nation. It will be one of the saddest extinctions in the history of human culture. Fortunately, Kyoto women keep the tradition not only alive but healthy. They have my deepest appreciation and gratitude.
