This is a shot of an afternoon in Iwakura, the part of Kyoto city where I have lived for more than 10 years. Rice fields in the foreground, bamboo grove in the back, and the little Eizan train running along -- it's a lovely part of Kyoto.

For some reason this shot reminds me of the film Swing Girls (スウィングガールズ); stupid brain :-)

@Hans ter Horst: Well, as Hiro says, there is something of the same flavor. That's a charming movie.

Swing Girls の舞台は確か東北の田舎。似てるかもしれません。

A wonderfully verdant scene with rich colours GJC! It looks like a fabulous place to live and raise a family! Nicely captured! ;-)

This is really nice! I'd love to ride on that train to see such scenery pass by (better than the suburbs of south London I'm used to).

A very lovely shot of the rice and cute orange train.

Just a moment, one moment of your existence there and the impression the moment left on your retina. Isn't it extraordinary if you think about it this way?
