Oh sir, this is really great! As a grandparent, I know how special it is to have the little one all to yourself for a time (and the best thing is that you can give them back when you get tired ;-)).. But this is a precious and beautiful composition GJC. Love the walway here leading to the trees and structure beyond! Gorgeous!

@Anita: Thank you. Riding a bike while holding an umbrella is something of a Kyoto tradition. Most people just hold the umbrella in one hand while holding the bike handles with the other. But some others install a special umbrella holder that goes on the handles and then they are free to use both hands to steer and break.
I like very much the rainy atmosphere of this image

It's a beautiful shot, a shot with a story...I'd have preferred the Bikerider-handling-umbrella to be absent, just for the sake of the atmosphere and story.
