Fields of Emerald

Posted by
GJC (Kyoto, Japan) on 29 September 2011 in Plant & Nature.

Different strains of rice ripen at different times. This field, usually planted later than others, also ripens later than its neighbors. It makes a beautiful field of green amidst the patches of gold rice in nearby fields.
