It is always a special day when my wife, a long-time student of the Japanese tea ceremony (sado; 茶道) makes green tea for us.
I have tasted tea only three times in my life - once to find how it tasted, once to be polite and once by mistake. On none of those occasions was it green, though.

@Eric Cousineau: Thank you. I appreciate your kind comments and your visits.
A good cup of green tea ... I've always taken the tea ceremony (Rykiu school) with a bowl Wabi-Sabi ... home of Japanese friends. It is always a wonderful time. Many times when you finish your tea and eat a sweet rice gave me an almond blossoms floating in the hot water from my bowl. I remember being touched by the delicacy of the gift and flower. If there are errors in my comment I pray thee have me excused. Best regards, Adela

Very nice composition, GJC. Peaceful as the tea ceremony. I have never attended one, but I heard it's beautiful. I am always positively impressed by the meaning of Japanese words. 茶道, literally meaning "the way of the tea", is one of these. :) Have a nice day

An exquisite image. It sounds like Ronnie has never had matcha which is unlike the pale yellow green tea that most of us in the West are used to.
