A very well balanced image. With a lovely touch of green and white. Why "Big" God on the pole. Does it refer to a God in particular?

@L'explorateur: Thank you for your visit. You read very well: indeed it says "Okami" or great god, but in this photo I actually cut the name off (the rest is written above). There are two gods worshipped at this little shrine. I don't now recall their names, but they both end in "Okami." Next time I go, I will check to see their full names.
You make this world look like one big study of form and space . . and, perhaps it is.
