The kanji characters written on the stones, by the way, are the names of people who have donated money to make the fence. Taken at Sudō Shrine (崇道神社).

Lovely patterns and great colour contrast. You must've got quite a collection of shots while the snow lasted. I know I did - it was too good an opportunity to miss.

@Stu: Yes, I was out a great deal, and here in Iwakura that snow lasted much longer than in other parts of the city. It was heavenly!
So many people out in the cold, ha. Nice pattern and color, like that bit of light from the lantern.
