紅白、実相院 (Red and White, Jisso-in)

I spent altogether about an hour-and-a-half at Jisson-in Temple, sitting, taking photos ... and sitting. I wish I could also share with you the profound quietness, punctuated only by the slow drip of water from the bamboo pipe into the stone basin. But I hope you have still sensed something of the staggering beauty of this place on a snowy day.

This is the last of the images I will post from Iwakura Jisso-in Temple in the snow. Tomorrow, we will move on to other sights in my neighborhood....
