Enchanted Temple

Posted by
GJC (Kyoto, Japan) on 24 November 2010 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

This temple -- like most -- sensibly does not allow tripods, so this is the best I could do under the conditions. Still, I wanted to share this wonderful place with you. If you ever come to Kyoto, please visit this quiet little temple in the Iwakura section of northern Kyoto. The name of the temple is Renge-ji (蓮華寺), which means Lotus Flower Temple. But despite that name, what makes this place enchanted are its maple trees.
