Inspired by the wonderful photos at imagediary. Thanks Daina!
A city shot from GJC? Fantastic! Well captured expressions, especially the young lady in the white skirt.

@Howard F.: Ha! I like to keep you on your toes. When I go downtown it's not usually for photography but I decided to try something new. Next week I'll post a few more urban shots.
How come my D300 does not attract such charming attention ? . . hee hee . . this is so cute !

GJC you handsome devil! Look at the stir you caused when you came to town.....LOL! Great capture! What was the event? ;-)

Excellent - especially because in the first brief glance one wonders if they are shop window mannequins, just for that fraction of a second. I wonder what they are looking at.

What are they looking at? We, blog viewers, shall never know it Which makes this capture of three staring young women yet more captivating.

Super cool and super cute shot :)) I looked at that too ;))

Wonderful shot and I like your sense of humor i.e. how differently each is dealing with the blinds in order to see out. Visual humor i.e. humor in photography is quite difficult – far more than drama I think. Why don’t you always take your camera to the city? And of course your graphic style and wonderful eye for composition are all present in this image. Thank you for the honor GJC and your kind words…

I like this - different from what you've shown so far but it has much appeal! Nicely spotted and taken!

I love this. It generates such a strong feeling of curiosity in me. I MUST know at what they were looking!

watchers by the windows !! great scene you caught there

What a great observation of people observing! I really like this one!

That seems out of character for these office ladies. Something certainly caught their attention. A great shot.

This is great. Just what are the looking at? We are all wondering because someone wants to see it. Someone else wants to see it more. And finally someone else wants to see everything and not be hindered by the blinds. Quite a story on personalities you have going on here.

Great development in this photo. Great "story" too. A mystery...we will never know! :-)

I like the progression of display from left to right with the first woman the most hidden of the three and the last on display in front of the horizontal "prison" bars. I'm not sure they are looking at anything. They seem to be wanting to escape from the monotony of the workplace, waiting for the parole officer, the clock to set them free? Behind them, the boardroom where the warden keeps house.

You have a great way of seeing Kyoto. I am curious about your blog name: does it refer to Lafcadio Hearn?
