As I noted earlier, large numbers of fine old homes and buildings are torn down at a depressing rate in Kyoto. Yet every once in a while, folks build a new house that is a worthy replacement.
Wonderful light on this one! And once more, I love the excellent pattern on the roof and the lines match the mountains perfectly!

Excellent blend of warm and cool tones, and love the "flow" of the scene that draws my eye from left to right. And that evening sunlight is simply glorious.

Great architectural image, love the colors and the patterns of straight lines. But also, what a beautiful house and the view they have from the top windows !

A very appealing architecture indeed... but it's your terrific framing and amazing tonality that have set this image apart! Beautiful work!

This is definitely a beautiful house. It is really too bad to see the cultural landscape shrinking... Like the arctic ice cap, the Ozone, historical neighborhoods, and the size of hamburger... Anyway, I hope at least a few will stick around for stunning photos like this.
