Just a decoration or this is an aeration? Nice graphism and textures.

@akarui: Thanks for the visit and comment. Yes, this is a small opening on the storehouse (倉) to allow for some ventilation. I find these windows are so often fine subjects for photography.
Very interesting find! Wonderful interaction between the high key on the top and the rich tonality in the lower half... Well seen and superbly captured!

quite like this image; another splendid find--master representation of a structure daily seen, but something the eye would not ordinarily been drawn to. you really managed to capture some of the wood's grain, and still managed good tones in the grey--wow.

Great use of a shadow to create a direction, and an additional element to the composition. I love the division of space and the limited color to create a strong design – there is no hesitancy in anything you photograph – it is never timid. As in painting the strokes are always confident and direct – a pleasure to view.

This is classic 'you'. Finding the interesting in the everyday. Great contrasting tones and textures here and perfect compo.

The warmth of light on the wood is better than a diamond ;)

The grain on the wood and the slant of the shadow are simple but beautiful.

Lovely abstract of such intensity seen like this. The attention to detail by the builder is plain to see.

very nice. the crack leading up and out of the frame is a good touch.

I like the way you split the frame, creating a tension between the upper and lower parts for maximum impact.

I find the beautiful especially appealing. Very nice.

You capture this kind of golden warm light so wonderfully.
