Harvest

Posted by
GJC (Kyoto, Japan) on 30 September 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

This is the final shot in the rice series. Most of the rice is now harvested in our area and the fields are now home to hundreds of small birds who poke around in search of stray grains.
This series may have been a little too long (starting on the 14th of this month) so I hope it didn't get too tedious for you. But perhaps like me you now enjoy your rice just a little more, knowing how lovely it is not just in our bowls, but in our fields.
