Kyoto Modern (3) On the Road to Shizuhara

Posted by
GJC (Kyoto, Japan) on 12 September 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

Anyone hoping to take "Beautiful Japan" pictures will certainly be defeated by the power lines. They snake across the skies in every possible direction and I have cursed them more than you can imagine for ruining countless wonderful shots and views. Yet without them I couldn't post this photo or do most everything I do in my daily life. They are simultaneously a bane and a blessing, and for once I admit defeat and put them squarely in the shot.
