I love the golden patina that the setting sun gives to the beautiful verigated wooden shutters! Well done GJC! ;-)

My favorite time of day. The light enriches everything it touches. The wood has a beautiful tone and texture.

Dramatic and rich. Your contemporary aesthetic in this image reveals the power and grandeur of the past. The balance of elements in the composition is simply perfect. Striking dynamic range. The play of light on the white panels is remarkable, and the wood is a feast. There is something stately about this photograph too... the shutters standing with their faces to the setting sun.

I never tire of seeing the warm light on the dark wood. I think the wood is cedar. Is that right?
