The rice fields are really looking beautiful now. Next three photos are of the fields here in Iwakura.

Loving the sharpness and tranquillity of the moss (it is moss yea? lol). It feels so alive and solid as if i can lawn bowl on it!

@Helly: Thanks for the visit and the comment. No, it's not moss, but an algae that forms on the water in which the rice stands. You don't find it in all the fields, but I sure like it when I do. My camera loves green, so it really goes to work in the rice fields ....

Green is definitely your colour - it always looks so vivid. The contrast between the green layer on the water and the darker green of the shoots is really superb.

@Veronique: That's because I mis-spelled it ;) Try algae. My French dictionary says "algues vertes."
