Not all rainy days are gloomy. In fact, depending on where you are, they can be one of the most relaxing types of days. This photo has that quality. Relaxing mood suited well to reading or just thinking.

Happy Birthday to your Dad, GJC. My Dad is my beacon, my light too :-) I love the feel I get from this picture, the mist on the mountains in the background, the subdued colours, speaks of of quiet, cool days where a hot mug of Japanese tea and nice book or a hand to hold (someone elses, not your own) would be the one of those simple pleasures in life. yay!
