Ohara (大原)

Ohara is a small rural village in Kyoto Prefecture. Anyone visiting Kyoto with an interest in the Japanese countryside should not miss this beautiful place. It has some beautiful and well-known temples, and you can also just enjoy the lovely scenery walking around the rice fields.

I am away until June 3 and will visit your blog sometime shortly after that. I've pre-posted shots for the time I'm gone.
