Close of Day

As I noted earlier, large numbers of fine old homes and buildings are torn down at a depressing rate in Kyoto. Yet every once in a while, folks build a new house that is a worthy replacement.

Excellent blend of warm and cool tones, and love the "flow" of the scene that draws my eye from left to right. And that evening sunlight is simply glorious.

This is definitely a beautiful house. It is really too bad to see the cultural landscape shrinking... Like the arctic ice cap, the Ozone, historical neighborhoods, and the size of hamburger... Anyway, I hope at least a few will stick around for stunning photos like this.
