Ian Bramham from Manchester, United KingdomI really love the geometry and line in this photo GJC! Also, the reflective surface of the water works really well with those soft colours as a backdrop. 1 May 2009 7:00am Stu from Kyoto, JapanThis is both highly graphic with those strong diagonals, and yet not, with those soft colours and reflections Ian mentioned. A very strong composition with hushed undertones (if that makes any sense?). 1 May 2009 8:09am dkc from Xanthi, GreeceWow...great! I was thinking that this may be a wooden floor from the thumbnail. 1 May 2009 8:39am MrsAmber from West Wickham, United KingdomThis is just lovely, simple but effective and I just love the lines. My shot of the day so far! 1 May 2009 9:26am Ian from United KingdomI admire the angle you've got here - it allows you to keep those wonderful layer-cake lines at the top without much compromise. Very nice. 1 May 2009 12:07pm hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongWhat lovely interplay of patterns, colours and textures! The reflections are adding to it... great eye! So delightful to view!:-) 1 May 2009 2:57pm martie from somewhere, United StatesThat water is so still it looks like metal or glass! Wonderful composition! 1 May 2009 3:18pm Sugata from Newark, United StatesOh I love those diagonal lines leading my eyes to the stacked layer of colours at the top! 1 May 2009 3:30pm sherri from Little Rock, Arkansas, United StatesArkansas is one of the top producers of rice in America. You've captured this field from an exceptional angle. 1 May 2009 4:40pm Marcie from United StatesLove the abstract nature..the color..the pattern and light. 1 May 2009 6:15pm Ilan from IsraelGreat "layers" :D The blue, the green - all working well together. 1 May 2009 6:40pm ordinaryimages from Kentucky Bluegrass, United StatesAbsolutely one of your best !!! Strong diagonal lines anchored to the horizontal lines at the top. Muted colors. Reflelction. Just lovely. 3 May 2009 12:38am cat from Tel Aviv, IsraelI like how the house reflection is carried on in the next image (sometimes it's fun to move backwards through a series of images, it seems!). I like the combination of order and nature too, which I suppose is a good way of looking at agriculture. 3 May 2009 1:49pm Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesThis is truly an amazing image. I love it. 20 May 2009 8:09pm |
