Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesUtterly beautiful. Love the way you've framed this. 19 Apr 2009 8:08am Howard F. from South Pasadena, Calif., United StatesPicking out the beautiful flowers for the market or a meal to sustain life- that's the gift and power of spring and the sun. Awesome shot. 19 Apr 2009 8:27am Stu from Kyoto, JapanLove how everything in the focal range is packed into the bottom of the frame, and the top is full of those luscious bokeh greens (and pink!). 19 Apr 2009 10:12am MrsAmber from United KingdomSuper picture, wonderfully composed. I echo wht Stu says really. Lovely colours 19 Apr 2009 10:33am cat from Tel Aviv, IsraelSuperb, especially the framing. It is very effective, because it allows us to see the pink blossoms in the tree, and gives the feeling that the picture is about more than just the figure, it's about the place, the time. 19 Apr 2009 12:57pm bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaYour framing is so wonderful and your depth of field is perfect. Lovely and emotive...full of life and colour. 19 Apr 2009 1:16pm hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongA beautiful image of warmth and hope! Wonderful clarity, tonality and the DOF is soooo lovely! It speaks of everyday life, dignity, self-possession. 20 Apr 2009 12:26am Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesThis is marvelous. The whole image is perfect. 20 Apr 2009 2:50am Nathan from Los Angeles, United StatesLovely capture, what is that person picking? 20 Apr 2009 6:24am zanfifotos from Pignans, Francei love it !! the frame, the dof, really great pic 20 Apr 2009 5:07pm Anita from West Nottingham, United StatesWhat is she picking? This was taken in Kyoto, in the upper northeast of the city in an area called "Shugakuin" (修学院). Though of course there are many houses in that area of Kyoto, there are still some lovely small farms there as well as the imperial retreat that dates back many centuries. |
