Gorgeous! The exposure is so well done, as usual! How you so easily capture the bright white siding without blowing it out AND capturing the beautiful deep blue sky in detail is nothing short of miraculous!

@Tracey: You are too kind. I'd like to explain my technique in detail and impress you and the others with my profound knowledge of exposure. The truth is, however, that the camera does it all for me. I just point and shoot. The d300 has great control over exposure setting so I just fool with different settings until I get what I like. I wish it was more impressive than that . . .

Well, as a D300-user, I can tell Tracey it is not quite as guaranteed as you suggest ! Camera cannot provide that wonderful attention to detail and proportion that is so evident in what you photograph for us.

Well, GJC- you're a point and shoot master, but of course with good eyes too. The straight lines and the wavy pattern created by the tiles are all very pretty. Not too mention the combination of blue and white is a refreshing color combo. Bravo shot!

Really like the lines and colors in this image. The blue, white and black are great together--dramatic and clean. Diagonals are all over the place! Great graphic impact!

I forgot to write that the camera may help you with exposure, but you are the one with the eye that selects, composes, frames the image!
