cat from tel aviv, IsraelAll store houses should look like this... 16 Dec 2008 8:05am Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesNice composition with strong lines and bold contrast. Nice. 16 Dec 2008 11:46am Tracey from White Hall, United StatesGorgeous! The exposure is so well done, as usual! How you so easily capture the bright white siding without blowing it out AND capturing the beautiful deep blue sky in detail is nothing short of miraculous! 16 Dec 2008 11:48am @Tracey: You are too kind. I'd like to explain my technique in detail and impress you and the others with my profound knowledge of exposure. The truth is, however, that the camera does it all for me. I just point and shoot. The d300 has great control over exposure setting so I just fool with different settings until I get what I like. I wish it was more impressive than that . . . hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongWow, such beautiful colours and details... the composition is just perfect!!! 16 Dec 2008 2:51pm Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaA classic GJC...awesome pairing of colours as well !!! 16 Dec 2008 3:55pm Vink from Grasse - French riviera, FranceSuperb blue and white contrast ! excellent framing 16 Dec 2008 5:53pm Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomWell, as a D300-user, I can tell Tracey it is not quite as guaranteed as you suggest ! Camera cannot provide that wonderful attention to detail and proportion that is so evident in what you photograph for us. 17 Dec 2008 12:32am Howard F. from South Pasadena, Calif., United StatesWell, GJC- you're a point and shoot master, but of course with good eyes too. The straight lines and the wavy pattern created by the tiles are all very pretty. Not too mention the combination of blue and white is a refreshing color combo. Bravo shot! 17 Dec 2008 12:44am daina from New York, United StatesLove the shadows! :} And of course your terrific design sense! and the color is so gooood! 17 Dec 2008 4:27pm Anita from West Nottingham, United StatesReally like the lines and colors in this image. The blue, white and black are great together--dramatic and clean. Diagonals are all over the place! Great graphic impact! 22 Dec 2008 10:50pm Anita from West Nottingham, United StatesI forgot to write that the camera may help you with exposure, but you are the one with the eye that selects, composes, frames the image! 22 Dec 2008 10:51pm |
