Beauty (美人)

This is the last in the kimono series. It was a great and interesting challenge for me because I do not feel that I photograph people well at all (I'm much too slow for one thing!). I thank all of you who wrote such kind and encouraging comments.

The focus on the obi (the red sash - I hope I remembered the right term) is beautiful, as is the portrait of the woman. Lovely lighting.

@Howard F.: Thank you always for such warm and encouraging comments. Indeed, you've found out the secret: this sereis has featured the lovely (and I do mean lovely) Mrs. GJC. She is the only one with the patience to wait while I try to figure out how to take the photo. She is a woman, as you can see, of exceptional grace.
