This is the last day of the month and the last day of my self-imposed challenge to take as many landscape-oriented shots as I could, since I seem to always favorite portrait-orientation. The result? 20 of this month's 31 shots are landscape-orientation -- pretty darned good for me! (In September, for example, I only posted 8.) I actually enjoyed the challenge and for a while I had to consciously think to turn my camera because I so habitually think in portrait format. But after this month I think I have a little more confidence in composing.
This shot, by the way, was taken on the same day as one I posted earlier this month. It was a first-rate day for my Nikon, which is always looking for green.
