Beautiful shot. I remember growing up and visiting temples of Taiwan deep inside the woods with green moss covering the pathway. This temple reminded me of that place. Thanks for sharing.

Love that everything is centered in the picture, but the vertical trees and the color really makes the photograph work like that. The building is rushing out and hitting you.

All the trees in the image are straight except the one by the temple echoing the steps that lead to it. The mist beyond it is wonderful too. Beautiful place wonderfully photographed.

Green and lush. You captured those vertical tree trunks beautifully--they seem to lean in a bit protecting the path, and the exposure is perfect, allowing them to stand out. The one tree by the temple with curving branches breaks the pattern in a way that emphasizes the pattern.

The frontal framing, relatively unusual for you, prompts me to consider the wild, intensely alive foliage from a very ceremonial point of view. In one important aspect, this photograph is like a temple itself: a refined cultural artifact in service of a natural, primal mystery.
