Last of Day

Until the end of the month I will be posting shots of the rice fields in the Iwakura section of Kyoto. The harvest is just beginning now and I've been enjoying taking photos of the fields in their final splendor. Nothing like taking a piece of rice off the plant, hulling it in your hand and putting it your mouth to let it soften. It has been an enormous pleasure to shoot the whole season of the rice cycle and share it with you. Hope you enjoy the shots for the rest of the month.
