ordinaryimages from Kentucky Bluegrass, United StatesGJC meets Mondrian. best...jerry 26 Aug 2008 5:28am Mirko Herzner from Mühlheim am Main, GermanyWhat a stunning simplicity in this one, GJC. Could have been a little brighter for me, though... Good! 26 Aug 2008 6:32am gbe from kansas city, United Statesjust great - glowing color, deep blacks. the title really adds too. 26 Aug 2008 2:16pm Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesI like the warm and welcoming light in the window. 26 Aug 2008 2:32pm DonLon from Providence, RI, United StatesI like the window color and the contrast. Just a little too much black at the top. Seems a bit top heavy. 26 Aug 2008 4:33pm baobab from Cambridge, United Statesnice contrast of colours and textures. I like the light from within offset by the shadows outside. agree with donlon that you could try cropping the top since there seems to be a lot of negative space there. 26 Aug 2008 6:40pm dogilicious from Millerstown, PA, United StatesNice abstract. the colors complement each other nicely and lighting is good. 26 Aug 2008 7:00pm farmermarn from Baltimore, United StatesLovely abstract! 26 Aug 2008 11:22pm l.a. from Cape Canaveral, United Statesooo, I love it, The textures, the light and most of all the simple lines. 26 Aug 2008 11:28pm Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesAlways a welcome sight ... I immediately sensed warmth and welcome in this simple, but lovely, composition! 27 Aug 2008 12:52am akarui from Kagoshima, JapanSimple and beautiful! A very good picture. I might have chosen a square format here. 27 Aug 2008 1:42am Reallyjapan from Tokyo, JapanExtraordinarily beautiful.. great colors and simple lines, so graphic.. awesome work! 29 Aug 2008 6:56am Howard F. from South Pasadena, Calif., United StatesThis is very different from your landscape photos! I like it! I agree with you that one shot you thought you might discard turns out to be the best from all the planned shots of the day. For this scene, I would either stand closer to make it a bit more abstract with even fewer lines, or stand further away enough to include the window and door. Either way, the muted lights are very interesting for all types of composition. 29 Aug 2008 6:09pm Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanGraphic quality! I like always the way you compose your images, nothing is too much, nothing is too little....a balance that is so difficult to obtain! 31 Aug 2008 2:34am |
