Summer Rice Field, 7

This is the last of the summer rice series. Today I deliberately focused the camera on the wall, so that the rice would become almost an abstract field of color. The Nikon d300 does greens exceptionally well and so I thought I'd take advantage of that. (I think it's interesting how we work in cooperation with our cameras, finding subjects it likes and learning to see our own visions through what our cameras like.)
Thanks to all who wrote such kind and encouraging comments on this summr rice field series. It is, as I'm sure all you photo bloggers already know, wonderful to receive such helpful and thoughtful feedback. Thanks to all. I'm sure we'll revisit these fields as harvest nears . . .
