I like how you have put the farmer not in the middle of the photo , have you seen how a live creature( a bird , man ,...) affects the photos ? maybe they become the central element you had told .

@payam: Thanks for your visit and your comment. I was interested in your thoughts about people, animals and birds in photos. Anyone who visits this blog more than a few times would no doubt think that no one lives in Japan, since I almost never include people. That's not because I don't like people, but because I find they always dominate an image and my interest is usually in the patterns of light or the architecture. I've never been good at working out a compromise between people and other objects in the photo. Anyone else with thoughts?

Your photos are always brilliant, and I admire how well you photograph structure within the light and shadow, it's no surprise then that your photos with people are also outstanding :)
i like the picture a lot. though you say you have trouble incorporating people into a lot of pictures without having them dominate, i think in this one the person was incorporated into the scene. good job
Those blue mountians pull at my heart. They make a lovely contrast with the bright green. I like the farmer's big hat. No thoughts on incorporating people into photos as that is something I don't do well.
