@payam: Thanks for the visit and the comment, which I always appreciate. Yes, we do have summer in Japan -- and it's miserable. Very hot and very humid. We're in the rainy season (stay tuned for a short series on that) and it will grow increasingly hot in the coming weeks.

@Lorraine: Thanks for coming by. I appreciate it. I'm glad you'll never get tired of these, because it seems about all I post! I keep taking the same picture again and again (different place, different season, different time) but it turns out to be the same photo. So I'm glad you haven't tired of it yet.

I like the way you're showing HOW a Japanese garden is intended to be viewed...the previous 2 photos are two such displays and this one adds to the pleasure even more. You make people enjoy what you love and this is a great thing!

This is my favorite of the series. I like the inclusion of the sides of the widows/doors. The structures outside lead the eye into the photo.
