Believe it or not, this photo (as with all on this blog) and that red is straight from the can. My Nikon is especially fond of reds and greens. Stop and go. I love my Nikon! It's such a better photographer than I am.
I like framing and colors !

I was going to say that the way you sometimes seem to favour reds reminded me of the way reds pop out in Ozu's late colour period (especially 'Ukigusa'). In his case, it was the peculiar Agfa film stock partly making the choice for him; though he knew it and certainly played to the strengths of his available tools. Anyway, there's certainly no shame in letting the camera collaborate with you...

A very interesting shot! The diagonal lines, the strong colours ... well done!

I like the symmetry of the composition, it gives such a relaxing feeling! Good capture!

Somehow I missed this one--this is fantastic, the angle and symmetry are just superb. Wow!!!!

Very warm picture, showing how much attention is paid to details in Eastern ceremonies and lay out. I'm sure the one blue ribbon stretched over the red carpet (the others are underneath it) has some significance.
