Love the colours in this. Don't know what was in your view (it might not have been possible) but did you consider including a little more of the gravel garden? It might balance the scene a little more and add to the juxtaposition of green and grey patterns. Just my opinion... ;-)

Oh my goodness. The rocks in the foreground and middle ground suggests some kind of relationship to me. Maybe those rocks aren't on speaking terms, but they're definitely related. And there you go again with that green. :)
