Thank you all for visiting, and especially for your kind wishes on yesterday's image. My brother Colin died more than 10 years ago and yet the pain is still so fresh. I appreciate all your kind remarks.

Very touching! I must admit that this night I dreamed that I was in Japan, I believe it was Kyoto. I wondered how I came there because I couldn't remember any flight to there. I sat in one of your famous trains but when I had to change trains I couldn't see what train I had to take (all signs were in Japanese), and it left without me! I remember having seen some shiny Japanese cars and some glimpses of street scenes from the train, and that I regretted not being able to walk around for sightseeing :(. I'm sure your pictures contributed to this weird dream (I always dream of trains but up to tonight never in Japan). This photograph and building are of some dignified beauty, not of this world, it's awesome!

@Illuci: Thanks for visiting and for your comment. I always enjoy reading what you have to say. I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience "in Japan." Next time let me know you're coming and I'll try to arrange things to be more pleasant. :) However, I was sorry that my pictures contributed to your dream, since I try to take peaceful images and your "visit" to Japan was defintely not very peaceful! :)

a great composition. especially like the light and colors. i'm really sorry about your brother. i can't even imagine how horrible it must be to lose a sibling. wish there was something i could say to bring you some comfort.
