pLusOne from Cheonan, South Koreacool composition and framing, I like the way how the tree shows here 22 Apr 2008 7:21am Lucca from Cologne, GermanyWhat a great composition! Such a beautiful green from the tree which shows us the direction from the right side to the left. The natural tones fit very well. 22 Apr 2008 8:21am Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesMagnificent! Such a beautiful composition ... I've just sat here for the longest time taking it all in. The massive scale in the foreground is, then, balanced so beautifully with the delicacy of the chartreuse new growth in the courtyard. While I am absolutely amazed by your use of color and texture, here, it is your mastery of capturing the light that sings to me with this shot! 22 Apr 2008 10:00am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaWOW, I love that gorgeous tree and the way you angled the compo is genial, superb tones!!! 22 Apr 2008 10:39am Tracey from White Hall, United StatesSuch yummy colors! I am so specific aren't I? ;0p Great framing! I always enjoy stopping in! 22 Apr 2008 5:29pm pierre from athis mons, FranceNice shot ! I love the wood texture and the impression of movement given by the green tree. 22 Apr 2008 7:44pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomA beautiful composition, I feel those green trees are reaching out across space and time, it is both highly spiritual and naturally magnificent, a masterpiece. 22 Apr 2008 9:10pm standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceWhat a beautiful composition. The tree is gorgeous! 22 Apr 2008 10:22pm Observing from Chester, United KingdomA fantastic representation, there is so much color depth and scale in this image, it's beautiful. 22 Apr 2008 11:32pm danthro from Suburbia, United Statesbeautiful composition. especially like hwo you captured the wood and cement. 22 Apr 2008 11:39pm akarui from Kagoshima, JapanExcellent picture GJC. I love it and the colors are great. 23 Apr 2008 12:21am madcat from Los Angeles, United StatesI really love it when you compose frames within frames like this. Like Ozu (my favourite Japanese director), there is often a terrifically deep background to your compositions. The nested frames help us telescope our senses, encouraging us to really perceive more than we otherwise might in a passing glace. 23 Apr 2008 2:02am Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsFantastic Japanese composition, well done, I love the way the light green horizontals combine with the dark stone verticals, on a light grey floor. Even the ripples on the roof play their role. Beautiful! 23 Apr 2008 9:41am Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomThe fresh vitality of that green is so compelling against that dark shadows and timbers here. A very well judged shot technically and artistically. 25 Apr 2008 12:06am Melissa W. from Warsaw, Indiana, United StatesBeautiful image. Nothing new to add that hasn't been said before, except that I love how you captured the light and shadows on the wood along the right side of the frame. 25 Apr 2008 1:52pm Anita from West Nottingham, United StatesI especially like this photo, highlighting the gorgeous spring green of that fabulous tree. Very nicely composed. I like how the tree is framed. This is my favorite of this and the next 2. I also like the contrast between the dark, smooth texture of the column and the light, airy texture of the tree leaves. (I somehow got behind in viewing your photos, and am slowly catching up.) 26 Apr 2008 3:43pm Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanLovely composition! The "through-the-window" effect is very pleasant to the viewer! 29 Apr 2008 12:10pm drphoto from Newcastle upon Tyne, United KingdomWonderfully exposed. I love those trees, they're really set off against the dark wood structures. Dan 4 May 2008 4:09pm |
