Nocturne in Blue and Black, Iwakura (岩倉)

Because of work, I've had little concentrated time lately to take photos. I despair that what little skill I have is rusting. Frustrating! I took this out my back window, trying to at least give myself a minute behind the lens of my beautiful Nikon.

Simple picture but beautiful. I enjoy that the cloud is making an other diagonale nearly parrallel to the hill. Yes the Nikon D300 seems to be a wonderful camera and I would like to try it...

It is sad when one can't get out to take photos, or do what feeds one's soul. However, you did great with this shot. I like the colors and the design. The diagonal stripes add dynamism.

Don't tell to yourself that your talents are rusting when you don't use them a couple of days (or even weeks). A photographer is unconsciously looking around him for worthwhile themes, items, subjects etc. It's different with musicians, they have to practice daily. This picture demonstrates that there is still talent left :), I see in it a merger or co-operation between heaven and earth.

Those shades of blue are intense, reminiscent of Hockney. My first impression was of a slightly mixed up Estonian flag. ;)
