Wonderful composition. What a delicate reflection!

Nice composition and reflection! You must have had a bright, sunny day as there is a big contrast between lights and darks, which causes some loss of detail, at least on my monitor.

@Anita: Thanks for stopping by. Yes, you're absolutely right about the exposure, and I debated even posting this photo because of it. Coming from a master of flower photography like yourself, I realize I should have just kept this one for private use. We'll try something else tomorrow!
Very sweet. Very SPRING!! I also scrolled halfway down the photo and looked at just the reflection and think that you could do an equally successful photo if you cropped it that way. Like an impressionist painting. Your photos are getting more and more "painterly"

@farmermarn: What a terrifically clever idea. I did as you suggested and -- pow! A new, better photo. I'm enormously flattered that you write the photos are "painterly," since that's exactly the aim of what I do. Ironically, I feel that in reaching for a visual vocabulary and style I am more influenced by painting than by photography. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the suggestion.
Great Reflection!

Chris: Posting less than perfect images, which I do every day, is a great way to learn from comments.
