The association with bamboo is nice and not common. The green color in the background is nice too.

Bamboo and sakura. It's hard to think of two more quintessentially Japanese forms of flora, and they're perfectly juxtaposed here. The bamboo is sturdy, muted and out of focus while the sakura is delicate, vibrant, colourful and crisp. Another really great and original capture.

awww, love this composition with the bamboo – I'd like to be in Yakumos world for a while. When I look out of the window I see grey and cold. I love rain but after a long winter I want to see the sun on the wall.
