Oh, my! You're taking my breath away with this posting! Looking again through a door...and discovering an unbelievable illusion: the bonsai seems to stand in front of a wall with a fresco on it done in ink! Is it real? Or is the whitewash just peeling?Anyway...the effect is amazing, my eyes stopped immediately on it when I opened your image!

You've got a great eye for the compo GJC, and again your control of the lighting leaves me envious. This is such a great shot. I can't help hearing voices and footsteps of the past in these halls. That little tree there really brings the image to life. Awesome work.

Beautiful and calming. Fabulous composition and light. What are we seeing through the open doors? The outdoors or a painting? I think it is the outside, but it looks like a painting. Excellent!!
