What a beautiful warm light!! We can feel the sun on us, and it's a good thing because we are cold here actually. And good technical work, contrast between outside and inside is perfect.

Absolutely love this one. You do so well with these shots. Every time I try to capture the interior and exterior in the same exposure either it's totally overblown outside or too dark inside...OR BOTH! I've tried so many times but it's always a miserable and frustrating failure.
Any tips from the guru would be much appreciated.

A beautifully composed shot! There's a great sense of visual balance in the shot: the more brightly lighted exterior has been given less of the frame (to compensate for its tendency to dominate the scene), while the warmer, more dimly lit interior is allowed to envelope the other. A wonderful study in balance and perspective!

A photo within a photo and an invitation,too! The door functions as a threshold between two worlds, one can find serenity in both of them. I like the idea of "looking out" and the light on the stone floor. A most beautiful composition!
