Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceWhat a beautiful warm light!! We can feel the sun on us, and it's a good thing because we are cold here actually. And good technical work, contrast between outside and inside is perfect. 27 Mar 2008 9:46am Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsWhen I dream of a nice and quiet place, then it's this! My room in heaven, thanks GJC! 27 Mar 2008 9:53am Koushiro from SIngapore, SingaporeNice Colours there! Love the way you played with the lighting too! Well done! 27 Mar 2008 12:44pm Stu from Kyoto, JapanAbsolutely love this one. You do so well with these shots. Every time I try to capture the interior and exterior in the same exposure either it's totally overblown outside or too dark inside...OR BOTH! I've tried so many times but it's always a miserable and frustrating failure. 27 Mar 2008 1:51pm Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesA beautifully composed shot! There's a great sense of visual balance in the shot: the more brightly lighted exterior has been given less of the frame (to compensate for its tendency to dominate the scene), while the warmer, more dimly lit interior is allowed to envelope the other. A wonderful study in balance and perspective! 27 Mar 2008 2:04pm Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesLove the warmth here. Wonderful balanced exposure. 27 Mar 2008 2:10pm Tracey from Baltimore, United StatesSo inviting. The light is heavenly (pun intended!) 27 Mar 2008 10:31pm standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceSuperb shot. You captured the light perfectly. This is so inviting! 27 Mar 2008 11:46pm Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanA photo within a photo and an invitation, too! The door functions as a threshold between two worlds, one can find serenity in both of them. I like the idea of "looking out" and the light on the stone floor. A most beautiful composition! 28 Mar 2008 3:04am pLusOne from Cheonan, South KoreaBeautiful and warm shot. I like the perspective, too. 28 Mar 2008 3:56am Anita from West Nottingham, United StatesNicely done. I like the soft light and colors, and, as always, the composition. You captured the peaceful mood. 28 Mar 2008 11:57am drphoto from Newcastle upon Tyne, United KingdomNice shot - taken as if by an insider who does not see the temple itself as something to marvel at but as a place from which to marvel at the workd outdoors. Dan 30 Mar 2008 3:50am dee from Innsbruck, AustriaThis is beautiful. Again a very nice, warm light. I can feel the atmosphere of this place. 30 Mar 2008 5:28pm Magda from Vancouver, CanadaSo beautiful.... What an amazing place! Like always, perfect lighting and composition! :) 10 Aug 2008 6:22am |
