I like the use of natural materials in simple forms as ancient Japanese style so often shows. Looking at this photo, I feel the inclination to crop away the right dark rectangle to make a square picture, but a second look tells me that it's more or less a repetition of the dark square at the right, and gives the picture openness just like the light borders of the dark square show that there is space behind. Fantastic composition!

Even though the image is without people, what comes across to me is the very sense of all the people who walk in the temple hall, it is a feeling of light footfall, and much reverance. A beautiful shot once again.

What I admire is your ability to continually find something new in this temple.
I think it is a great exercise...I get frustrated when I am at home and feel that there is "nothing" to photograph. There is always another angle or perspective...
